Notes: Herbaceous perennial wildflower found in the southeastern coastal plain. Its fragrant flowers are attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. A very popular choice in older southern gardens as its foliage stays green throughout the year. Best planted in mass plantings in a native, rain, or butterfly garden.
