Notes: Perennial wildflower commonly found in sunny wetland areas in the Piedmont and Coastal plain of NC. Attractive to pollinators it is one of few flowers that are buzz pollinated (bees use vibration to release pollen from flowers). Best used in a sunny boggy area such as pond margins or a bog garden.
