Notes: Herbaceous perennial wildflower commonly found in seepages, glades, and moist meadows in the Piedmont and mountains of NC. A pollinator favorite, it provides copious late season nectar for hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. A member of the mint family (Lamiaceae), it spreads readily via rhizomes. A good option for filling out bare spots in your yard or a damp naturalized meadow.
