Notes: Perennial wildflower commonly found in sandy coastal areas or rocky woodlands. Supports several specialized native bees and is a host plant to the Gray Marvel Moth (Anterastria teratophora) and several moth species in the Pyrausta genus. It is the most drought-tolerant of the Monarda species. A good addition to a pollinator or drought-tolerant garden.
