Notes: Herbaceous perennial agave commonly found in sandy open woods and rocky prairies. Primarily night pollinated by Sphinx moths and Noctuid moths. Also pollinated by bumblebees and Ruby-throated hummingbirds during the day. Best used in a drought-tolerant or rock garden.
