Notes: Beautiful beardless iris commonly found in meadows and forest margins in China and Japan. Known as the Japanese Roof Iris due to it historically being grown in the thatch of Japanese and Chinese roofs. This plant is best used in wet areas like around ponds or they can be used in borders or rock gardens.
