Notes: Herbaceous perennial wildflower is commonly found in wet areas near swamps, stream banks, or ditches. It is listed as endangered in Kentucky & Tennesee due to habitat loss. Primarily pollinated by Ruby-throated hummingbirds (Archilochus colubris). Works best in bog gardens, rain gardens, or near streams or ponds.
