My Ten Favorite Natives for Attracting Pollinators
with Catherine Bollinger
Drawing on her 35+ years of growing native plants on her 5-acre home, Catherine Bollinger will share her short list of native wildflowers and woody plants that continue to consistently attract the most pollinators.
About Catherine:
Catherine Bollinger’s family moved to North Carolina before her second birthday; she never left the state. She started her first wildflower garden at age 10, and has gardened all her life. When she wasn’t playing in the dirt, she earned three degrees from Duke University, studying psychology, anthropology, and southeastern US ecology. For over four decades, she worked as a technical writer for several companies in the Research Triangle Park. Now retired, Catherine divides her time between gardening and writing about gardening on her blog, https://piedmontgardener.com/, and occasional articles for Conservation Gardener, the magazine of the North Carolina Botanical Garden.
