Notes: Herbaceous perennial wildflower found in tallgrass prairies or woodlands in the wild. A host plant to the Rattlesnake Master Borer moth (Papaipema eryngii). Attractive to pollinators and Soldier beetles (Cantharidae) eat its pollen. A great addition to borders, pollinator gardens or in wetland areas.
