Marsh Rattlesnake Master (Eryngium aquaticum)

Native Range: Eastern USA
Qualities: Attractive to pollinators, Deer resistant, Drought tolerant
Notes: Perennial wildflower found in tidal freshwater marshes in the coastal plain, they are somewhat uncommon in the wild in NC. Attractive to native bees and other pollinators and drought tolerant once established. Plant in rain gardens, near ponds, or in garden borders.
