Qualities: Attractive to pollinators, Drought tolerant, Moderately deer-resistant
Notes: Perennial wildflower commonly found in dry forests, roadsides, and meadows in the Southeastern USA. Attractive to pollinators and supports specialized native bees including the rare Andrena fulvipennis and Perdita boltoniae. It is best placed in a meadow or rock garden and can tolerate poor soil as long as there is adequate drainage. It was the 2018 NC wildflower of the year!
