Notes: Perennial wildflower found in wetlands, riparian areas, and moist woodlands. It is a host plant for the Baltimore Checkerspot ( Euphydryas phaeton) and the Common Buckeye ( Junonia coenia). Great addition to pond borders or in a woodland garden.
