Notes: Herbaceous perennial is commonly found on marshy shores, alongside riverbanks, or in wet woodlands. Best put alongside fences or a trellis that it can climb. A rapidly growing plant that may require frequent division. Host plant to Pearl Crescent butterfly ( Phyciodes tharos).
