Notes: Perennial wildflower in the mint family with a wonderful licorice scent. Commonly found in prairies, fields, and dry woodlands in the wild. Foliage can be used in flowers and tea, and seeds can be used in baking. Considered one of the premier pollinator plants, this flower attracts various bees, hummingbirds, butterflies, and moths. Best used in a naturalized meadow or prairie, or as a border of a perennial garden.
