Notes: Herbaceous perennial wildflower found in prairies or along roadsides. A favorite amongst hummingbirds and other pollinators. it is also a host plant of the Raspberry Pyrausta (Pyrausta signatalis) and supports several native specialized bees (Dufourea monardae, Perdita gerhardi, and Protandrena abdominalis). Best used in herb garden, pollinator garden, or naturalized meadows.
